This chapter describes various error scenarios and how to handle them. The sections below refer to the reason displayed in the Dashboard of the Web GUI.
Communication error

TIX internal server error
This may or may not be a temporary error. Contact the data repository administrator.
Traceability data processing in progress
This is a temporary error. The data repository is busy with processing traceability data for import, publishing, or rollback. If the TT Data Uploader is the only application uploading data, try to increase the value of delay between uploads in the configuration.
Communication configuration error

Failed to authenticate user
This is a TT Data Upload configuration error that requires intervention, the problem is wrong password for the configured username.
Error in XML data
A data file contained errors that must be fixed before uploading can be resumed. Locate the file in the failed directory. When the error is fixed, move the file to recovery directory. In the Dashboard page in Web GUI, you should now see the file first in the queue. Press the Resume button, then either wait for the next schduled upload, or start the upload immediately by pressing the Upload button.
XML document too large
A data file is too large. Locate the file in the failed directory. Try to split the file in two or more parts, saving the first part of the file first. Move the files to the recovery directory. In the Dashboard page in Web GUI, you should now see the files first in the queue. Press the Resume button, then either wait for the next schduled upload, or start the upload immediately by pressing the Upload button.
